Hermes, a French luxury company was inspired by the crafty authenticity that Eevgenia Miro, a Russian artist, has brought to the table, or more precisely to the brand’s overarching goal – to be the messenger of culture by offering a worldly medley of inspirations. Parallel to Hermes’ ambitious, alluring creative designs, Miro’s contribution is inspired by the Franco-Russo folkloric tales, expressing its snapshot of tradition through the label’s iconic scarf collection. Miro’s craftsmanship and ability to tell a story using a unique medium – scarf, is spectacular. The result is a two-part, Russo inspired contribution to Hermes. The Alphabet Russe which includes colorful scarves and enameled bracelets; and Zabavushka which debuted during last year’s holiday season is a tapestry of all Russian symbols in a form of toys like the matroshka.

Miro also designed a series of tableware elements, naming the collection “Ballets Russes” with ornate plates and cups that tell a story using picturesque symbolism.
