A bold expression of modern design, the Avant Garde Dining Chair is part of the larger collection, which also includes a lounge chair and matching ottoman which share the same sculptural sensibility.

Perfect as a statement piece in a contemporary dining room, the Avant Garde Dining chair features a durable steel frame available in a variety of sleek, colored metal finishes which its seat and backrest are padded with cold-foamed polyurethane and could be upholstered eco-leather, genuine leather, and a wide selection of premium fabrics, allowing for full customization and seamless integration into any design scheme.

Inspired by his extensive travels as a child because of his father's job as a diplomat, Fabrice Berrux is a successful and skilled designer and architect. After attending the Dijon Arts School, Berrux worked for an architecture firm for a short time before starting his career in design by focusing on creating contemporary light fixtures and small pieces of furniture.

In 1987, Fabrice Berrux opened his studio 18 AOUT, which designs playful and one-of-a-kind products that add a funky touch to a modern space. By using a combination of unique shapes, Berrux's products are internationally loved and respected.
