The simple silhouette features a rectangular top with a one-sided extension that folds underneath the table when not in use and four thin legs that offer plenty of legroom. To extend the table, pull out the two legs on one side, revealing an opening for the folded extension that clicks easily into place. There is plenty of room for everyone to gather around comfortably. This table pairs well with many dining chairs, sideboards, and cupboards, thanks to the timeless design.
Manufactured in Italy with incredible attention to detail and designed by Nicola Cerasa, the Chef extension dining table is available in many sizes. The top comes in glass, ceramic, and melamine, and the extension comes in a corresponding lacquered wood, ceramic, or melamine finish. Also, the base comes in metal finishes.
Designed by
Nicola Cerasa is an award-winning designer with years of experience. He studied industrial design at the Experimental Design Center in Ancona, which is what made him the experimental, risk-taking designer that he is today. Some of his designs are made with traditional materials like wood and ceramic, while others are made from cardboard and methacrylate for a unique element. He designs products in collaboration with an array of prestigious Italian companies, such as Bontempi Casa.
