Alessandro Scandurra
Alessandro Scandurra is an Italian architect and founder of SSA-Scandurra Studio Architettura in Milan. Known for contemporary projects ranging from international headquarters to historic restorations, his work has been recognized with nominations for prestigious awards. He has exhibited at the Venice Biennale and Milan Triennale, and teaches internationally.

Alessandro Scandurra, architect and founder of SSA-Scandurra Studio Architettura in Milan, graduated from Politecnico di Milano, where he studied and collaborated with Umberto Riva. Since 2001, he has designed international headquarters, commercial spaces, hotels, and restoration projects in historic buildings. His work has earned nominations for the Medaglia d’Oro, Mies van der Rohe Award, and Compasso d’Oro.

Scandurra has participated in the Venice Biennale and Milan Triennale, while also contributing through lectures, writings, and research on Milan’s urban development. A professor at SUPSI, he is also the author of Juan Navarro Baldeweg, Umberto Riva, Carlo Scarpa and the Origin of Things.
