Born in Udine, Fabio di Bartolomei started his career in 1979 by launching the Di Bartolomei Design Studio, that focuses in the field of architecture and interior design for both public and private places. Soon after opening his private firm, Di Bartolomei formed working partnerships of industrial design with some of the most renown Italian companies in the furniture and lighting sector, including FIAM, Tonon, Bieffeplast, Montina, Calligaris, and Skipper.
Di Bartolomei work is so iconic that it's displayed in several design exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In 1996, he received the “Marcello d' Olivo” award for design, making him even more respected in the industrial design field around the world.
