The Danish designer Felicia Arvid, (born in Aarhus on the 26th of April 1994) began her creative path in dressmaking and fashion design and sold her first fashion designs to Japan at the age of 18. Wanting to explore other areas in the creative field she went to study Architecture at Glasgow School of Art. Felicia Arvid’s approach to design is formed by her tactile experience from working with fabric and draping a flat material into three-dimensional shapes and exploiting the materials resilience to inform the shape. Her architectural experience gives clarity and constructional awareness including a sense of quality in materials and atmosphere through the development process.
