Designed by
Andrea Anastasio after completing his studies in philosophy, embarked upon a cultural path that led him to cooperate on various diverse projects. He went around the world to catalog Indian architecture, research traditional craftsmanship techniques, and develop relationships with architectural firms, museums, and publications.
Anastasio designs projects for prominent Italian companies that also are successful internationally. Inspired by his fascination with poetry and its effect on architecture, he creates unique and artistic pieces of furniture that are practical as well. His research focuses on the manipulation of objects, consumer goods, and domestic materials, to generate cross-contaminations of languages and meanings, such as in the Filo lamp, a project he coined for Foscarini.
