Foil Dining Table
Inspired by the shapes of the foils on America's Cup racing boats, the Foil dining table features independent supports that bring creativity into everyday life. The expansive tabletop, available in various materials and finishes, appears to float gracefully on the vertical fins, achieving an unexpected dynamic balance.
Created by award winning designer Giovanni Crosera and manufactured in Italy to ensure quality, this table is offered in five sizes. The table's refined design brings a fresh approach to the home dining experience.
Designed by
A graduate of IUAV in 2006 in Industrial Design, Giovanni Crosera received his PhD in Design Sciences with specialization in "Industrial Design and Digital Fabrication" in 2010 and his Master's degree in "Architecture of the Ship and Yacht" in 2012. He has collaborated with leading firms in design and yacht area, and currently runs his own design studio in San Donà di Piave, Italy, dealing with products, furniture, yachts, automation, and professional equipment.
With MIDJ, Giovanni Crosera has designed the Foil table collection. His works, characterized by the swing between cuttingedge technological research and "basic" design solutions, have earned him severals awards including Red Dot Design Award, DME Award, Good Design Award, BigSEE AWARD, FX Design Award, ADI Design Index.
