The Oslo Hard Leather Dining Chair takes its name from designer Franco Poli's deep admiration for Hans Wegner, a 20th-century designer who elevated Scandinavian design from a niche style to a global symbol of elegance, organic shapes, and functionality. Inspired by these ideals, the Oslo chair features a meticulously crafted wooden seat designed for comfort.

The Oslo Dining Chair features a four-legged base made of veneered wood, with the seat available in  braided hide or tuscan hide upholstery. The colors of the backrest evoke the coniferous forests of Scandinavia, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the scent of trees and the sound of waterfalls. The earthy-toned leather adds a natural touch, and its softness highlights the chair's graceful curves and contours

Born in Padua, Italy, in 1950, Franco Poli is an award-winning designer who is well-respected worldwide. His experience spans decades, and he has experience as a product designer, business owner, teacher, and artistic director. In 1977, he was the artistic director for Bernini spa, and by 1986 he opened his own design studio. He also taught at multiple schools in Italy and now freelances for an array of furniture companies, including Midj. Poli has his work on permanent display at the Denver Art Museum.

His awards include the Good Design Award and the Composo D'oro, making his work highly sought after. Geometrically inspired and full of functional appeal, his products are iconic. Poli is always striving to be better, and the evolution of his work shows that.
