Pier Luigi Frighetto, a luminary in the design industry, boasts a remarkable 40-year career that commenced in the province of Vicenza. His entrepreneurial spirit shone as early as 21 when he founded his own upholstery company. In the 80s, he boldly pioneered furniture exports to the United States, establishing himself as an industry trendsetter.
Not just a designer, Frighetto is an innovator and talent scout who has fostered emerging designers, leaving an indelible mark on the design world. His tenure at home decor brand Black Tie from 2011 to 2021 showcased his sophisticated and refined style, creating interior design elements of timeless elegance. Moscabianca, his latest brand, epitomizes avant-garde solutions with iconic lines. In 2023, Italian brand Pianca acquired Moscabianca, realizing Frighetto's vision for widespread commercial distribution and providing the impetus for continued success in the design realm.
