Naan Armchair
Evoking a soft and subtle warmth is the Naan armchair from Pianca. A square base gives way to a chair with a rounded silhouette emphasized by clean lines and curved accents. Sink into a deep and spacious seat and get extra support from thin, tapered armrests. Having no gaps or space in between gives this chair a continuous look, elegant and whole, and fully capable of providing comfort for hours on end.
Choose from a fixed base or a swivel base with an internal rotating mechanism with a 90° return. Customize the upholstery with an extensive array of leathers, eco-leathers, and fabrics in many colors and textures. The plinth is in a Nero Opaque lacquer. The Naan armchair is designed by Federica Biasi for Pianca and is manufactured in Italy.

Based in Milan, Federica Biasi’s design approach emphasizes clean aesthetics with a focus on formal simplicity; soft, graceful, and detailed. Born in 1989, Biasi graduated with honors from the European Institute of Design in 2011, then spent the first two years of her professional career in Italy before spending another two in Amsterdam. There, she explored Nordic design, learned to identify emerging trends, and developed her own style.
After returning to Milan in 2015, she set up Federica Biasi Studio, where she works as Art Director and Product Designer. By combining manual work and tradition, she creates innovative furnishing solutions that are efficient and functional.
