Soft and elegant, the Peonia armchair from Pianca is a regal addition to a contemporary living room. The round backrest encompasses you while you lounge, helping you sink deeper into supple cushioning and luxurious upholstery. Accentuating the back are distinctive layered elements, extending in length as they go up, mimicking a peony flower's natural, blooming beauty. Its fluid silhouette evokes comfort and turns any contemporary living area into a place of warmth and familiarity.

There is a fixed base version or a swivel version with a 90° return that helps you achieve the most comfortable sitting position. Various eco-leathers, leathers, and fabric upholstery options are available for the best fit texturally and by color. The plinth can be the same as the upholstery or can be finished in Nero Opaco lacquer. The talented and award-winning Cristina Celestino was born in Pordenone, Italy in 1980 and studied architecture at the University of Venice. After finishing her studies, she began working with famous Italian companies and focusing on interior architecture and design. After gaining a stellar reputation, she started her furniture brand and then opened a studio that quickly became internationally successful.

Celestino's designs mix the old with the new, and she is always experimenting with traditional techniques to give products a modern twist. By combining traditional with contemporary and having a playful use of geometry, iconic and unique pieces are created.
