Tightly spaced vertical slats run the full height of the door, giving the tall cabinet a tactile, sun-catching texture. Designed by Mariateresa Casarola for the Chora collection, this piece is manufactured in Italy by Talenti. The doors, top, and frame are available in natural teak or palissandro accoya wood finishes. A graphite aluminum base provides a stable, elegant foundation for the unit. Engineered for outdoor use, the Chora cupboard can endure seasons of sun and weather, and pairs naturally with the matching sideboard from the Chora collection.

Mariateresa Casarola is an Italian outdoor and exterior space designer based in the Piacenza area of northern Italy. She is a co-owner and key creative figure at Cagis Italia, a family-run design and manufacturing company with roots dating back to the 1960s. The company specializes in bespoke outdoor architectural structures and furnishings for residential and hospitality spaces, working with materials such as wrought iron, steel, wood, and glass, all produced in Italy. With over 30 years of experience in outdoor furniture and spatial design, Mariateresa focuses on creating continuity between interior and exterior environments, ensuring a cohesive design language across both. In the hospitality (Ho.Re.Ca.) sector, she is also involved in coordinating project execution alongside design development. Her notable work as part of Cagis’s Design Complements Collection, has gained international recognition.
