Bot Suspension Light

by Gregorio Spini for Vistosi

The Bot Suspension Light is a sleek, sophisticated, and striking lighting fixture that serves as a perfect addition to any modern-style home. A part of the Bot collection, this piece embodies the concept of a dynamic volume in motion that gradually transforms into a new, unique form. The design draws inspiration from the traditional art of glass-blowing, where the incandescent glass retains light even before it takes its final, definitive shape. This subtle yet powerful representation of fluidity and transformation makes the Bot Suspension Light an extraordinary focal point in any room.

Crafted by the highly respected designer Gregorio Spini and meticulously made in Italy, this lighting fixture is a testament to outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail. The high-quality white crystal glass finish pairs flawlessly with a choice of glossy or matte white lacquered frames, creating a seamless and refined aesthetic. Together, these elements result in an elegant, timeless piece of lighting that not only illuminates but elevates any space it graces. Whether positioned above a dining table, in the foyer of a home, or within other key areas of the home, the Bot Suspension Light becomes a captivating centerpiece, drawing the eye and inviting admiration. Its sophisticated design brings harmony and balance to the room, making it an ideal choice for those seeking to make a statement while maintaining an air of refined elegance.

Gregorio Spini
Gregorio Spini is a designer who has approached the profession from a multifaceted background. In 1996 he founded the company Kundalini, a unique example of a lighting company that grew from nothing to achieve commercial success and worldwide acclaim, which has led to direct collaborations with some of the major architects and designers of our time. These include Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, Future Systems, Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone, Karim Rashid and many others. In 2008 he left his company to act as a freelance designer and design consultant as well as strategic advisor to the brand. In 2013 he founded Delight Design, a new lighting company launched the same year at Euroluce. This new project is closely linked to the history of Italian lighting design companies founded by designers-entrepreneurs. It is based on a new model that promotes local craftsmanship and self-production on one’s own territory, therefore enhancing the true nature of the “Made in Italy” brand on an international scale. With Vistosi he was able to experience glass-designing for the very first time, a process that had fascinated him for so long. In 2011, in fact, he designed the Bot and Implode collections. The simplicity of their silhouettes and the interplay of white glass and crystal overlays make them exemplary pieces of sleek elegance and style.
