Globose Wall Sconce
Globose captivates with a refined play of contrasts, where a sculptural, geometric frame meets the gentle curves of luminous blown-glass spheres. Its square-section structure flows in a continuous, graceful rhythm, weaving elegant orthogonal lines that cradle the diffusers and cast a seamless 360° glow. Offered in shaded white or in a striking clear crystal finish inspired by the texture of hammered glass, the diffuser lends an airy, almost weightless presence to the design.
The wall sconce features a single diffuser that can be oriented in four different directions, allowing light to be shaped to suit the mood and architecture of any space, while the collection also extends to a suspension version. Designed by Romani Saccani Architetti Associati for Vistosi and crafted in Italy, Globose embodies a harmonious balance of artisanal mastery and contemporary expression, delivering lighting that is as evocative as it is functional.

Michele Romani and Mauro Saccani founded the design studio ROMANI SACCANI ASSOCIATED ARCHITECTS in 1999. After having collaborated as freelancers with some architecture firms around Milan and having participated in several design and architecture competitions, today they are increasingly oriented towards the product design sector. Their current projects include numerous collaborations with design companies in both the lighting sector and in the furniture/interior accessories sector. For Vistosi they have designed many successful collections: Diadema in 2005, both 24Pearls and Cloth in 2009, Novecento in 2013, Puppet in 2015, Cristallina in 2017 and Puppet Ring, the most recent in 2019. Each of their new concepts stems from a conscious reinterpretation of the past, becoming a blend between imagination and pragmatism, challenging the seriousness of standards and customs. The “simpler” the original idea, the more successful the project will be: therefore “simple”, which never means trivial, is understood as the primary form of elegance and a rejection of excess and vulgarity, as a clean and pure ability to communicate an authentic message.
