The Riketta Suspension Light, created by Oriano Favaretto for Vistosi, is a true example of contemporary sculptural design. Inspired by the timeless form of the egg, a symbol of perfection throughout art history, Riketta combines tradition with modernity. The lamp features a base of white opaline glass and an upper structure of 2¾ mm diameter metal rods, intricately welded to form its signature egg shape. These subtly curved lines are the hallmark of this light and the inspiration behind its name.

Favaretto reinterprets the classic egg silhouette with two versions: one more flattened, the other elongated, allowing for a variety of configurations. Whether used alone, in pairs, or in clusters, the lamp offers dynamic lighting effects, thanks to its hidden LED light source embedded in the glass diffuser. Handcrafted in Italy with meticulous attention to detail, the Riketta Suspension Light’s striking form and modern aesthetic make it a versatile fit for diverse interior styles.

Oriano Favaretto attended the "Accademia delle Belle Arti" where he had the opportunity to meet Emilio Vedova, an iconic teacher in his life. His popular professional successes include "Lubian 1982" award at the "Italian Academy Competition," as well as the working experience in painting art, gained at the "Bevilacqua La Masa" foundation. Favaretto took part in numerous leading international shows—"Eventi" in Milan, together with Zuccheri and Oira, the itinerant fair "I Fiori Della Metafora" with Plessi and D'orazio and the "Murano" award won by Oriano.

Noteworthy is the"Lampada d'oro" award gained in 1993 and then the "Prix d'Excellence," from Marie Clare thanks to his "Polipò" which soon became the lamp of the year. He cooperates with several prominent companies in the domain of industrial design. His artworks are exposed at the Glass Museum in Murano and in some other private collections.
