Patricia Urquiola, born in Spain, is an internationally respected architect and designer, with many awards under her belt. She has won “Designer of the Decade" from the Home and Häuser magazines, and “Designer of the Year” from Wallpaper, Ad Spain, and other prominent publications.

Exhibited in many museums and collections, Urquiola's work is world renown and artistic as well as functional. Urquiola works with prominent Italian companies to create aesthetically pleasing and innovative products that look lovely in a modern home. Along with designing, she lectures at various universities in Milan and Paris with Achille Castiglioni and Eugenio Bettinelli.
